5.11 Demnonstrate differentiation of instruction for all students utilizing increasingly complex print and digital text.

Level 1 Reader

Level 2 Reader

Level 3 Reader

This group of students have been the best class to work with for many reasons. One reason being the requirement of differentiating instruction based on each student’s needs. At times, it felt as if I was planning a different lesson for each student because of the abilities range. Although, each student works on the same skill each week, the way I deliver the material ranges tremendous. Each reading group uses a different leveled reader, which means I'm reading three to four different stories each week. I choose this artifact because it truly demonstrates how different each level really is. Something that I'm very proud to say I have accomplished is the ability to take a reading skill and figure out four different levels for each activity I have planned. I never want a student to feel left out of an activity because of their ability, so I make sure to complete each activity with every group, but just in a different way to make sure I'm meeting every student’s individual need.
