In order to motivate and encourage students to keep reading, we use an AR record folder. Each student is responsible for filling out the form each time they take an AR test. Each time a student gets 100% on an AR test, the student gets the AR card punch and after ten 100% students get to pick a reward for the classroom store. Students love picking out items such as homework pass and using a pen for the day. The simple rewards act as a positive motivation to keep the students interested in reading.
